Our 425 acre farm, Jacob Brook Farm, is located in scenic Lamoille County, Vermont---where there is something to see or do every season of the year.

We harvest annually a renewable supply of sap for making maple syrup while maintaining our commitment to sustainable forest management and wildlife habitat. 

Jacob Brook Farm is a certified Tree Farm and a Member of Northern Woodlands Association.

2015 brings in some major changes to the grade

   classifications for syrup in Vermont. 

The International Maple Syrup Institute spearheaded

   the standardization based on color and flavor.

The new grades are to alleviate consumer confusion

   and unify grading between states and countries. 

Shown below they are meant by their more descriptive

   names to clarify the taste of syrup for consumers.
